The Introvert is the world’s first flipper-opening back lock folding knife. The brainchild of martial artist and knifemaker Chris Knutson, it translates the key elements of Spyderco's popular Swick fixed-blade into a truly remarkable folding knife.
The Introvert’s full-flat-ground VG-10 stainless steel blade features Spyderco's Trademark Round Hole and a Fred Perrin-inspired integral index-finger hole that anchors the knife into the user’s hand for exceptional grip security. The leading Edge of the larger hole also functions as a flipper, allowing the blade to be swiftly opened with a stroke of the index finger.
The “dropped” angle of the Introvert’s handle complements the hand’s natural ergonomics and maximizes the knife’s cutting leverage. Its construction includes full stainless steel liners capped with textured G-10 scales and a unique variant of the back lock mechanism that includes a machined slot to allow the blade’s flipper to pass through it. A reversible deep-pocket wire clip offers both left and right-side carry and, together with the knife’s other features, makes operation of the Introvert completely ambidextrous.
