This unique Native® 5 Lightweight was produced exclusively for Cutlery Shoppe to offer one of Spyderco's most popular models in a distinctive and highly collectible format. Proudly manufactured at Spyderco's factory in Golden, Colorado, and available only through Cutlery Shoppe, it features all the defining characteristics of the standard design, as well as the enhanced performance of a Crucible® CPM® S90V® powder-metallurgy stainless steel blade. CPM S90V's high vanadium content promotes the formation of hard vanadium carbides instead of chromium carbides, greatly enhancing the steel's wear resistance while leaving more free chromium available to provide superior corrosion resistance. The full-flat-ground Plain Edge™ blade of this knife is also cloaked in a handsome, black Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coating and features a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening.

The fiberglass-reinforced nylon handle is injection molded in high-visibility orange—the signature color of Cutlery Shoppe Exclusives—and has a Bi-Directional Texturing™ pattern for a secure grip in even the most demanding conditions. It also houses a high-strength back lock mechanism that offers exceptionally smooth operation with either hand. Four sets of threaded inserts in the handle scales allow attachment of a stout pocket clip, supporting convenient left or right-side tip-up or tip-down carry. To match the DLC-coated blade, the lock bar, clip, and all other metal hardware are also coated with a tough black coating.
